Thank you to our 74 Thanksgiving volunteers! 135 delicious boxed lunches with turkey sandwiches, corn salad, cranberry sauce, sweet breads, potato ships and water made (only one eaten by a squirrel), preparers and guests safely masked and distanced, 134 people served (including a few vegetarian and gluten free lunches), and all cleaned up by 2:15 p.m. (a record for the books!)
Thursday, October 22 from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Art and Reflections on Race, an evening to share poetry and reflections on race will feature original poetry by young black poets as well as our own Rich Gage, and a conversation with Joshua Longbrake, artist of the “Confession” sculpture in the garden. The event will be one hour long via Zoom.
