Thank you for being part of St. John’s! If you have been attending in the last six months we invite you to consider making a commitment our generous and joyful community through Our Common Cup annual campaign. Every year we ask members to pledge financial support to our annual budget for the coming year. We hope you have heard one of our stewardship talks, if not, you can view the talk by Duncan Moore.
Please prayerfully consider a financial commitment to St. John’s. You can pick up a pledge card in church or pledge online using the St. John’s Online Pledge Card. We hope to receive all pledges by Sunday, November 13. After you pledge please sign your name to the poster on the bulletin in the Parish Hall – our goal is 95 households.
You may have also hear about our three-year capital campaign, Legacy of Love. We welcome your pledge (please do not reduce your annual pledge in order to make a capital campaign pledge – our annual budget is our primary need). You can visit our Capital Campaign Website to view the goals and to make a pledge (there are also Capital Campaign pledge cards available at church). You can pledge anytime – payment are requested by December 31, 2024.
With gratitude,
Alex Menocal, Jenny Palsgrove, Tom Irvine, Brian Hosking, Sarah Royston, Duncan Moore
St. John’s Stewardship Team
Please note: All gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. If you schedule a repeating payment through your bank or Zelle (to treasurer@stjohnschicago.com), please put your pledge number the memo line. Please make checks payable to “St. John’s Episcopal Church” with your pledge number in the memo field. If you are a new pledger you will be assigned a pledge number in early January.
